What would you
SKIP?
The busywork? SKIPPD. The learning? Never.
Hit record and put the phone down. After class, SKIPPD turns the lecture into structure, key points, and flashcards, then schedules them into your daily review. Missed a line? Jump straight back to what was actually said.
- Sorted out for you, hands off
- Visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
- Keeps up with fast, dense lectures

A course is suggested — just confirm
Still rewriting class?
We skip the busywork, not the lesson. Copying, reformatting, rewriting, making cards by hand — hand those to the AI. Understanding, recalling, and actually knowing it stay yours.
Everyone else after class: rewriting notes. You: still rewriting notes.
Class ends and the notes have already written themselves
The professor says "this will be on the exam" while you are on the wrong slide
Miss the notes, not the point — and jump back to the exact moment
Finals week: 600 slides open, starting from page one
Finals are not relearning the term, they are calling the key points back
Lecture in. Study-ready out.
You only do the first step. The other two come back to find you.
Capture class
Record a lecture, or bring in material you already have.
Start from your timetable and put the phone on the desk. Recording stays visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island; calls and app switches do not interrupt it. No timetable yet? Record anyway and assign the course afterwards.
SKIPPD the admin
Get structure, key ideas, and editable flashcards.
Transcribe → recognise boardwork → extract key points and tag them → generate a recap and candidate cards. Four steps run in the cloud and notify you when they are done. All you do is confirm which course it belongs to.
Keep the learning
Review what matters before you forget it.
Today tells you how many cards are due. Rate yourself once and the schedule shifts along a memory curve — weak cards come back sooner, solid ones move further out.
From hitting record to the night before the exam
Every one of these serves the part that comes after class. Nothing here is filler.
Record class, screen off
Recording stays on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a Control Center shortcut. Calls and system reclaims have a fallback, so those 90 minutes are never lost.
Transcripts with timestamps and speakers
Fix any line, rename any speaker. It keeps up when lecturers switch languages mid-sentence, and your own terms can go into a glossary to sharpen recognition.
Flashcards, without making flashcards
The boardwork you snapped becomes text, joins the transcript, and turns into editable cards filed under the right key point. No manual card-making.
Find what mattered. Fast.
Not one long summary — a list of the key points from that lecture, marked by importance and by where you are weak, so you know what to open first.
Miss the notes. Not the point.
Every card carries its evidence: the moment in the recording, that photo of the board, that slide. Unsure about an answer? Jump back and hear it.
Review before you forget
Due cards land on Today by themselves. Skipping a day costs you nothing — this is your own course, not a streak game.
Import your timetable from a screenshot
Drop in a screenshot of your schedule and the week gets laid out for you. When class starts, Today offers to record it.
Exam prep, planned backwards
Enter the exam date and the plan fills in by day and by slot, so opening the app tells you exactly which cards this session covers.
Ask AI about this lecture
Follow up on the key points from this class. Answers stay anchored to what was actually taught, not generic explanations.
Not written down. Remembered.
One card, three passes, each asking something different. Recognise, recall, and test do separate jobs; your self-rating writes back to mastery and decides when that card returns.
Recognise
See the point and the answer together first. A card you have never met does not get tested.
Recall
Question only. Answer in your head, then flip. Blank? Jump back to the sentence it came from.
Test
Answer for real and rate yourself. That rating sets when the card comes back.
Zone out for a second. Not for the semester.
Cards are not conjured from nothing: each one links to its source — the moment in the recording, the board photo, the slide. Doubt an answer and you are one tap from what was actually said.
Stop rewriting. Start recalling.
One thing in common: the material is your own course, not a question bank someone else built.
Undergrads
A full term of lectures and one bill due at midterms. Import the timetable and every day tells you what you have and what to review.
Grad entrance exams
Record a core course once and the structure is there. Plans work backwards from the exam date, with progress you can see.
Professional exams
Long campaigns like CPA, bar, IELTS and TOEFL: online courses record too, and your own terminology sharpens the transcript.
High school
Less copying, more learning. Class moves fast and notes fall behind — snap the board and the key points are waiting at home.
Working learners
Training, industry talks, podcasts. Review in the gaps instead of blocking out an hour.
You study. SKIPPD does the boring part.
No streaks, no badges, no levels. Missing a day is not failure, and turning day counts into pressure only makes people fake their reviews.
Questions, answered
Is SKIPPD about skipping class?
SKIPPD is about skipping study admin, not skipping learning. It helps students turn class into review-ready material so they can focus on understanding and recall. Copying, reformatting and hand-building flashcards can go; understanding, recalling and mastering stay with you.
Do I have to keep the screen on while recording?
No. Start it, lock the phone, put it on the desk. Recording stays visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and calls or app switches will not cut it off.
Where do recordings live? Are they uploaded?
Recordings land on your device first. Transcription, boardwork recognition and card generation run on our servers, and processed content can be deleted item by item. Before you record, follow the rules your school, instructor and classroom set. (The Privacy Policy is the authoritative wording.)
My lecturer switches languages and has a strong accent. Will it keep up?
It handles mixed-language lectures. Add your own terminology to the glossary to sharpen recognition, fix transcripts line by line, and rename speakers.
Can I use it without a timetable?
Yes. Just record, then assign the course afterwards — the app proposes one for you to confirm. Timetables can be imported from a screenshot of your schedule.
Cards are AI-generated. Can they be wrong?
They can, which is why every card links to its source — the moment in the recording, the board photo, the slide — one tap away for checking. Key points and cards are all editable. For anything that matters, defer to your instructor and course materials.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, on iOS 17 and later. Newer releases add Dynamic Island, Control Center shortcuts and other system integrations.

Skip the busywork. Keep the learning.
Next lecture, just hit record. Transcribing, pulling out what matters, building cards, scheduling review — SKIPPD takes it from there.
